šŸ“– A Simple Three Ingredient Bake

Perfect for experienced bakers and the moms who canā€™t be bothered to follow all the measurements and instructions (although there is some of that here).

šŸŒ Banana Scones

Ingredients

  • 3 Ā½ cups Self-Rising Flour (plus more to work the dough

  • 1 ā…“ cup Mashed Banana (a bit less than 3 large bananas)

  • ā…” cup Vanilla Yogurt, any kind (plus a bit more to brush on top of the scones)

Optional

  • Ā½ cup Vegan Dark Chocolate Chips - or chopped pecans, walnuts

  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

  • Ā¼ cup Sugar

  • Sprinkle flour on the work surface, and place the dough on it, sprinkle a bit more flour on top. Using your hands, press and flatten into a 0.8-inch thickness (2cm).

  • Use a cookie cutter or mason jar lid (5 cm) to press and cut out pieces of dough. Oil the cutter to avoid sti

  • Place the cut-out scones on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a thumb space between each.

  • Brush the top of each scone with yogurt.

  • Bake the scones on the center rack of the oven for 15 to 17 minutes at 390Ā°F (200Ā°C) until the top is golden brown.
