Streamline Your Mornings: Make Ahead Breakfast Ideas (A Mini Series)
Presenting: Make ahead Oatmeal Pancakes
This is by far one of the most versatile recipes out there. The key to make these āmake aheadā pancakes is double (or triple) the recipe and freeze them in a zip lock bag. Theyāll hold up great for weeks. Warm them up in the toaster oven or microwave when you need a quick and super nutritious breakfast.

Ingredients
ā¢ 1 banana
ā¢ 2 eggs
ā¢ 1/2 cup + 2 Tablespoons rolled old fashioned oats
ā¢ 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
ā¢ 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
ā¢ 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
ā¢ 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
ā¢ 1/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
Blend all ingredients (except the chocolate chips) until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Cook pancake batter on non-stick skillet over medium heat with cooking spray (use a 1/4 cup to measure).
Flip pancakes once the batter starts to form little bubbles and you can easily get under the pancake with a spatula. Cook for another 1-2 minutes or until pancake is cooked through (makes 6 small pancakes).
Substitutions
From experience, if youāre missing any of the ingredients, omit or sub with nearly whatever you have on hand and these will work AS LONG AS youāre cooking them as instructed (non-stick pan, medium heat, leave the pancake alone until you see bubbles).
Ideas: sub yogurt for apple sauce or half a banana and any milk on hand, omit cinnamon if not available, replace chocolate chips with nuts or omit them. Sub eggs for chia or flax seed egg substitute (mix 1 tbs of either seed with a splash of water until it forms into an eggie substance).

Natural, Crunchy & Scrunchy Stuff
Letās Talk Sauerkraut
TL,DR: Gut health = Immune system health. Eat some sauerkraut.
Traditional Food - This is one of many foods weāll label ātraditional foodsā in this and future publications. Why traditional? Because these are foods (or types of foods) that our great great great grandparents grew up eating in one form or another regardless of your background. A lot of these traditional food involved things like salt and fermentation because it allowed families to preserve produce during the cold winter months.
Enter sauerkraut - Ladies, itās so delicious! Letās start there. Food should taste good. Itās also available in the refrigerated section of most grocery stores (usually by the sausage) and easy to make at home with just two ingredients: cabbage and salt. Note: donāt buy the canned version, the pasteurization process diminishes it's nutritional value.
Healing properties - Sauerkraut is rich in probiotics and live enzymes. Itās anti-inflammatory, antioxidant (via vitamins E & C), and anticarcinogenic.
Practical applications - Besides consuming it for over all gut and immune system health, use sauerkraut to treat any stomach virus that leads to diarrhea (norovirus, rotovirus, etc). It will restore your intestinal flora in no time. Use it to treat IBS, candida and constipation. Note: as with anything, please test it for allergies (specially in children) and donāt go crazy with itā¦no need to eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

A new bathing suit company is making proper swim shorts for women. Not the swim shorts you pictureā¦these wonāt go over your bikini bottom. These are proper, bathing suit material, cute swim shorts (with matching tops).
A really cute idea to turn your kidās artwork into a coffee table hard cover book. This example was done using the Mixbook app.
10 Work from Home Jobs you can try out. Think baby stepsā¦starting now with a baby step is always better than delaying until the perfect time (of course, follow the Lordās leading). Think about it this way, if you had started publishing one mediocre blog post a week in 2010, where would your blog be today?
A great resource to teach your kids about money (written as an age by age guide, from toddlers to age 12).
